Dynamic Formation and Associated Heating of Magnetic Loop on the Sun. II. Characteristic of Emerging Magnetic Loop with Effective Footpoint Heating Source
We investigated those dynamic processes responsible for generating effective footpoint heating source (eFHS ) in a selected emerging magnetic loop . Our previous study showed that eFHS was related to the complete thermalization of kinetic energy of a supersonic downflow driven in the emerging loop . By analyzing a very high-cadence simulated data , we revealed how local transverse compression of the loop by means of Lorentz force (magnetic compression ) proceeded to enhance gas pressure (gas density and temperature as well) in it , thereby reaccelerating a decelerated downflow along the loop to generate eFHS . This may tell about a characteristic of the loop having eFHS (eFHS-loop ) ; that is, eFHS-loop is a loop experiencing the magnetic compression via dynamic loop-loop interaction . We discussed illuminated and non-illuminated loops in terms of this characteristic.
A detailed investigation of the dynamic loop-loop interaction was made in the succeeding paper .
